Tooth contouring and reshaping is a procedure to correct crooked teeth, chipped teeth, and/or overlapping teeth in one visit. It can also be a substitute for braces if the teeth only require very subtle changes. In some occasions, contouring and bonding can be combined with tooth reshaping to correct a problem with your bite and produce a beautiful, natural smile.

Essentially this procedure removes small amounts of tooth enamel in order to change the shape. This is often followed by or paired with a bonding treatment that uses tooth colored composite to sculpt further. Finally, the teeth are smoothed and polished to complete the beautiful, natural look. It is essential that your teeth be healthy to complete this treatment.
